Neal, 31 years old, a software engineer was miraculously healed of kidney cancer a month before he was expected to die.
When Neal was diagnosed and went for surgery, his doctors could not believe the severity of his condition. With no medical option, the doctors sent him home to spend his final time with his family.
My miracle began in a very special Roman Catholic Church in Brick Township, New Jersey, "The Visitation" on Mantoloking Road. My two sons and I always attended Mass there. My husband was quite ill and we always (3) prayed together mostly for him to get well.
Here are two of the miracle stories from the book
"Real-Life Miracles and Wonders (108 Miracle Stories From Around The World)”:
Neal had such a strong faith all his life and believed in miracles, but now he needed one desperately. He began to pray for himself and was prayed for by many friends and family.
Neal went to bed one night very depressed and woke up at dawn. He looked out his window and witnessed a bright light; his first reaction was that it was coming from the sunrise. He continued to look out his window and could not believe what he was seeing; a soft white light came in through the window and touched his body, then disappeared within a few seconds but Neal felt an internal peace, which he never experienced before.
Neal refused to die and I believe that God saved his life through "The Power of Prayer" as well as his spiritual belief. His life has been changed forever. He has always believed in miracles, but this true personal experience has reminded him that all we have to do is have faith in God.
Twenty two years later, Neal is still cancer free, living his life to the fullest. Each day he gets up looking from his bedroom window and prays for another new day.
One beautiful Sunday in May, a sun-drenched statue of the Blessed Virgin was very close to the front left of the altar. I was so drawn to it that after mass I knelt at the altar with my young sons and looked up at her face. It was a beautiful statue. Her eyes appeared to be looking down at me with such great compassion and sadness that I felt almost blinded, my eyes were tearing and I had to look away.
The next evening I decided to go see the statue again. I attended Novena, which is a ceremony tribute to the Blessed Lady at which we can offer prayers for special intentions. After the ceremony, I went up to her statue, which was now on the right front of the altar. I couldn't believe my eyes. The statue was very old and crackled, not at all like the one I saw the day before when I was dazzled by its beauty. Could I have seen a vision? Or was this a different statue?
The next day when I came home from work, my husband who had been languishing hopelessly at home for several months, was sitting up and was excited about a phone call he received that day. He wanted to go see a sandpit that was for sale. We had no money to buy a sandpit.
However, we drove there with a beautiful lady salesperson. He was sitting in the back seat. She perceived that he was ill and started asking questions about his health. She told us about a doctor in Camden County whose shots were helping many people who had given up hope. What a saleslady she was! We were so convinced by her excitement and stories of impossible cures, that on my next day off, we made the trip to the doctor who eventually got my husband well and back to work.
